Housing Information
The military provides two options for the use of your Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH)
The first option is to live on base. Your second option is to use your BAH to rent or buy a house off base.

• The Housing Management Office  (660)687-4417. Contact the HMO as soon as you know you are moving. You will be provided with the latest information on local housing as well as referral services and relocation assistance. They offer counseling and guidance before entering into a lease agreement and help resolve tenant-landlord disputes.

Whiteman AFB On Base Housing

• Unaccompanied Housing (660) 687-5662 is reserved for single arimen ranked E1-E4 who have less than 3 years of service. You will be provided with private accomdations with basic necessities for comfort in the barracks.
  
  
• Whiteman on-base housing is privatized and provided by Balfour Beatty Communities (660)687-0559, which offers studio-4 bedroom homes in a variety of neighborhoods. Home amenities may include: storm shelter, covered patio, fenced in yard and washer/dryer hookups. The communities feature miniature golf, playgrounds, indoor swimming pool and more.
